Your new role As an all rounded Finance Specialist in the team, you will collaborate with teammates to prepare and generate essential financial, regulatory, internal MIS, and ALCO reports. Your role also involves closely monitoring prudential and financial ratios, ensuring full compliance with regulatory policies and Head Office guidelines. Additionally, you'll play a key role in processing and posting financial transactions related to the Branch's income and expenditures.Finance and Management Reporting:
  • Provide financial analyses as needed, including calculating variances from the budget and reporting significant issues to management.
  • Prepare necessary reports and forecasts related to liquidity ratios (ALCO ratios).
  • Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new products and system implementations in financial or regulatory reports.
Regulatory Reporting:
  • Assist in preparing regulatory returns, financial reports, and disclosures.
  • Monitor and track branch costs, ensuring expenses remain within the approved annual budget. Obtain approvals for any exceptions and verify expenses.
  • Coordinate with external and internal auditors for the annual audit.
Financial Accounting and MIS:
  • Maintain an orderly and documented accounting, finance, and MIS filing system.
  • Ensure that income and expenditure vouchers are correctly posted and recorded.
Cash Management and Reconciliation:
  • Ensure accounts payable are settled promptly and accounts receivable are collected in a timely manner.
  • Complete periodic bank reconciliations.
  • Accurately calculate interest rates for branch assets and liabilities before disbursement or settlement.
  • Record receipts and payments from Nostro or Vostro accounts accurately.
Finance and Operational Efficiency:
  • Support new product launches and system implementations.
  • Perform Risks & Controls Self Assessment (RCSA) on various processes related to the Finance function. Finance Operational Efficiency:

What you'll need to succeed
  • 8+ years of working experiences in all rounded finance in the banking industry, ideally in corporate bank branches.
  • Bachelor degree in a related field of study.
  • Proficient communication skills in written and spoken English and Chinese.
