
Account Analyst / Associate

- Accurately and efficiently prepare client reports spanning performance, trading activity, portfolio valuation and risk metrics. Analyze portfolio data including qualitative and quantitative performance attribution. Handle ongoing automation of growing reporting requirements and streamlining of the reporting process. Effectively utilize tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and macros. Intermediate use of Python is a plus
- Continually build understanding of macroeconomics and underlying market factors to complete qualitative, complex investment analysis
- Support the Account Management team through the provision of market and portfolio data, work with internal groups such as fund administration, operations and compliance teams
- Provide support for identifying new business development opportunities (i.e. investors, asset pools, channels), driving marketing/sales campaigns, and preparing for finals presentations and closing business
- Respond to client queries, proactively build a strong relationship with clients over time.

- Outstanding Cantonese and English communication skills – both written and verbal.
- Commitment to quality and attention to detail.
- Self-confident, robust, decisive, trustworthy and with excellent judgement on client matters
- Effective communication skill is essential given the frequent level of client interaction.

- Bachelor’s degree
- Progress towards regulatory certificate in relevant jurisdiction
- Prepared to make progress towards attaining the CFA designation
- 0-3 years of finance-relevant experience
- Collegiate team player, experienced and comfortable in an international operating environment.
- Can demonstrate an understanding of economics, capital markets and investment concepts.
- Possesses the language skill appropriate to the region (Cantonese & English).
- Intermediate use of Python is a plus
