- Collaborate with the team head to identify and analyze potential business opportunities through new client mapping.
- Maintain and nurture customer relationships with existing corporate clients.
- Utilize own extensive network of client connections for marketing efforts and self-driven prospecting.
- Target local corporates in Hong Kong and listed POEs in China across various segments (FMCG, TMT, Infrastructure, new energy, automotive, etc. excluding real estate).
- Take ownership of team targets, focusing on revenue generation from New-To-Bank clients and refinancing within the existing portfolio.
- Evaluate and explore new business opportunities through active engagement in sales and marketing activities for a comprehensive range of corporate banking services.
- Areas of focus include DCM, syndication, club deal facilitation, trade financing, bilateral lending, revolving loans, working capital loans, and cross-selling of cash management products, derivative instruments, and treasury products.
- Conduct thorough reviews of pitch-books, perform credit analysis, and develop financial models for credit proposal write-ups to support credit meetings.
- Uphold superior credit quality standards as a paramount responsibility.
- Possess proficient understanding of account opening procedures, KYC (Know Your Customer) requirements, due diligence processes, and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) protocols for client onboarding.
- Ensure strict adherence to compliance protocols and regulatory guidelines.
