- Answer telephone calls and attending email communication to provide customers with information to address their claim-related inquiries or requests.
- Assist customers effectively by understanding their needs and offering them corresponding solutions.
- Transfer telephone calls from customers to supervisor or concerned case handlers for practical follow-up of reported claims.
- Handle confrontational or stressful interactions with customers tactfully.
- Capture customer information and keep records of customer inquiries, requests or complaints accurately.
- Resolve customer problems or complaints in accordance with the company’s guidelines and policies.
- Handle paperwork, data entry and personal insurance claims as required.
- Secondary school or above, passed in IIQE Paper 1 and 2 is preferable
- 2-3 years of working experience in claims hotline
- Customer service oriented with the ability to handle customer complaints
- Good telephone manner and effective communication skills
- Good command of spoken English, Chinese and Putonghua
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Chinese word processing
