You will receive active mentoring and sponsorship throughout the programme with key programme performance and evaluation checkpoints to ensure support and progress.Final Placement: Your performance and potential will be reviewed regularly, and post-programme placements will be aligned with your aspirations and strengths.Key ResponsibilitiesFormulate investment plan and proposals to support reliable & efficient generation and facilitate business development along the decarbonisation journey;Perform portfolio management of the generation units and carry out scenario modelling works for fuel cost and outage optimisation;Develop business strategy & plan to support business growth, and derive detailed execution plan, stakeholder engagement programme and review mechanism to ensure successful delivery of the planned objective;Lead various kinds of generation operation & maintenance strategic analysis and prepare reports & proposals with useful insights and sound justifications to facilitate management in business review and decision making;Drive development and implementation of various process optimisation, digitalization and automation initiatives to drive operational excellence;Facilitate and provide leadership on asset management, risk & opportunity management as well as regulatory management and compliance;Implement special projects, where necessary through job rotation and job enrichment.Requirements:A recognized university degree in Engineering or related discipline with minimum 6 years of working experience in strategic planning & business development, asset & risk management, investment planning, plant operation & maintenance (O&M) or engineering projects.Excellent business acumen with proven ability to conceptualize, design and carry out strategic analysis and effectively communicate recommendations to stakeholders.Strong analytical & critical thinking skills and numerical reasoning ability.Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.Good understanding of the power industry, understanding of Hong Kong regulation system on the industry is a plus.Ability to work independently and deliver quality result under tight schedule.Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin).Substantial work experience and knowledge in generation plant O&M is an advantage.Possession of a corporate membership of HKIE or other recognized engineering professional bodies is an advantage.Work Location: Tuen MunApplicants not invited for interview within 6 weeks from the closing date may assume their applications unsuccessful.
