ResponsibilitiesGenerate and regularly update a knowledge base of customer insights and the medical insurance market through market watch, intelligence, and research, translate customer insights generated from research into actions and share it with internal stakeholdersClosely monitor product trends and product mix of key players/competitors’ insights, provide comparative analysis or recommendations when necessaryDesign product proposition with creative ideation based on segment needs by conduct annual product review and manage product revamp or new product launch projectTrack and trace performance of existing products, identify any gap and propose changes to enhance overall performanceFollow product development governance and comply with regulations and requirements from any applicable local regulatory requirements and Bupa internal policiesFull ownership of ensuring the accuracy of product development documentation (internal and external) and compile new product proposal, business case and product specification etc.Prepare presentation materials to seek product approvals from the Product Committee and deliver the product development projects in collaborative efforts with relevant project working committees/ members across different department and functionsDeliver product training at product launch and annual product reviewProvide mentorship and training to junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional development within the teamTo assist and take the lead on any ad hoc project assigned by supervisorQualifications, Training and ExperienceEducated to degree level with relevant insurance business qualifications or equivalentWith at least 6-8 years’ insurance business and/or management experience, ideally including insurance product development experiencesStrong sense of ownership, works diligently, and maintains a positive mindsetStrong market and business senseOpen minded with ability to generate ideas / think out of the boxNumeric and analytical with ability to use data and insightsExcellent attention to details and follow through deliverables and guidelinesStrong communications and interpersonal skillsGood command of both written and spoken English and ChineseBupa offers 5 days’ work per week and comprehensive remuneration packages including base salary, study assistance plan, company pension plan, life and medical benefit, dental benefit, annual leave, examination leave, etc.Bupa is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from qualified candidates.
