
Head of Relationship Management - Private Banking and Trust Services - Hang Seng Bank (HK)

- Formulate and implement strategic sales plans and distribution policies to develop and grow the Hang Seng Private Banking as well as the trustee business and to optimize profitability
- Identify and capture business growth opportunities and client acquisition, including plans and strategies to generate new business, as well as increasing revenue for existing ones to achieve asset growth, sales or revenue targets
- Anchor as the leading private bank by expanding the market share in investment and insurance, and as a leading premium trust service provider in both the local private and corporate trust industries
- Ensure a high operational efficiency in running the distribution and front office, and be responsible for overseeing client engagement events, initiatives and activities to develop business opportunities
- Support in developing new private banking and trust products and services and communicating new products, propositions and relevant market information to customers. Collaborating with internal stakeholders, which may include relationship mangers and product specialists, to maximize cross-selling opportunities for the bank
- Maintain and observe the Group's / Bank's internal control standards, implement and observe the Group's/ Bank's Compliance Policy and maintain awareness of operational risk and minimize the likelihood of it occurring
- Protect the bank's reputation and ensuring an acceptable risk profile, whilst deepening your understanding of the client through credit and customer due diligence reviews
- University graduate in related disciplines or other relevant qualifications
- Proven experience in investment and private banking or relationship management services equivalent
- Possess professional qualification such as Certified Financial Planner and/or Chartered Financed Analyst would be an advantage
- Professional and client focus with an expert understanding of financial planning and wealth products.
- Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
- Professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) would be an advantage.
