Manager

• Look after the data center operation in IT:

• Oversee daily data center operations and relevant projects to ensure they are effectively and efficiently completed within the approved budget, time frame and quality standard
• Responsible for the management of physical environment in data centers such as ventilation systems, temperature and humidity sensors, UPS, fire suppression systems, Genset, etc
• Maintain integrity of the data center facilities, systems, and communication environments through IT Service Operations Management
• Manage the routine maintenance and provide emergency support on a variety of critical systems in data centers
• Assist in the design, provisioning, relocation, implementation, and commissioning of new facilities of data centers
• Establish policies, procedure, and documentation relevant to data center operations
• Ensure compliance with data center standards, policies, and processes
• Coordinate activities in support of all projects and technical requests within the Data Centers and IT Operations
• Manage and improve the work-flows and through-put for data centers operations and manage the roster of the data center operators
• Lead the IT production support team to provide support to IT applications.

• Manage the 24 x 7 data center operators
• Manage the 24 x 7 Incident Response Center
• Manage the production support team
• Work with business coordinators and IT team leaders to coordinate projects and technical issues
• Hardware and software maintenance in IT

• Manage all hardware and software maintenance contracts and contract renewal
• Ensure all operational KPIs and metrics are being measured and met
• Consolidate the IT operations budget
• Be passionate about quantity and quality of services being provided, and strive for continuous service improvement

• Bachelor degree or above in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related disciplines
• 8 years of experience working in large-scale IT data centers and IT operations
• Well-versed with different building services systems - Power systems, UPS, HVAC, Security, BMS, etc.
• Strong project management & communication skills and able to work under pressure
• Experience in handling data center projects is an advantage
• In-depth knowledge of data center operations and processes
• Knowledge in IT servers and IT cloud services
• ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management
• Strong leadership and analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to provide support in non-office hours (i.e., be reachable in non-office hours)
