Our client is a US fashion brand and they are now seeking a Regioal Merhchandising Planning Manager for their DTC channels. This Regional DTC Planning Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day merchandise financial planning activities across product categories for DTC channel – Retail Inline, Outlet and Ecommerce.Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead DTC country planners to develop and maintain DTC merchandise financial plans across product categories, to support commercial goals.
  • Manage monthly rolling forecasts, deliver seasonal and long-range plans, across channels and markets to meet the region's commercial sales targets.
  • OTB creation - ensures OTB plans to consider inventory levels, sell-thru and WOS targets.
  • Analyze inventory health and identify optimization opportunities to enhance inventory efficiency.
  • Collaborate with DTC merchandisers and country buyers to develop seasonal category plans that support the merchandise objective.
  • Consolidates the OTB plans and Category plans to feedback to regional DTC Merchandiser for range preparation.
  • Ensure category plans are structured to create a point of view (take considered risk) & drive sell through (volume drivers).
  • Drives markets item planning for 52-week styles.
  • Review purchase forecasts with country planners to evaluate investment to OTB and category plans, and monitor key DTC merchandising KPIs with DTC merchandisers, such as efficiency and adoption%, segmentation plans and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support markets to conduct end-of-season reviews, analyzing seasonal sell-through against targets to identify opportunities and risks for the next season.
  • Provide the DTC team with regular, data-driven reporting and insights by analyzing sales, purchase, inventory and sell-through data.
  • Serve as the SME and participate in current retail system and planning system development.
  • Coordinate with system planners to enhance DTC reporting capabilities through platforms like Spotfire and PowerBI, such as retail analytics reporting, master data for regional meetings.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • A minimum of 5 years working experience in DTC planning across the APAC region
  • Expertise in merchandise financial planning - OTB management, seasonal/long-range forecasting, inventory analysis, and optimization
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic category plans that align with commercial objectives and merchandise strategy
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior management
