The Role
Operate sophisticated scientific instruments to support core service and research
Liaise with users to coordinate service logistics
Provide technical advice to users
Evaluate and validate new technologies
Qualifications and Qualities
Master's degree or above in Biomedical Sciences, Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or a related discipline
At least 2 years' relevant laboratory work experience
Strong passion in science and technologies
Advantage but not necessary: Working knowledge of existing technologies and laboratory accreditation experience, and holder of Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) Part I/II license issued by HKMLT Board
Self-motivated, responsible, conscientious, meticulous and enjoy teamwork
Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English
Competency in MS Office applications
Candidates with higher qualifications or more experience may be considered for appointment as Senior Technical Officer
