- Conduct routine review and processing of safety reports related to fatigue or people safety submitted to Safety and Operational Risk Management Department (SRM).
- Facilitate Operational Learning Reviews (OLRs) to capture learning from safety events as and when required.
- Liaise with relevant operational departments to ensure clear communication and effective follow-up on operational safety events and fatigue issues.
- Support the development and implementation of the Fatigue Risk Management System (FRMS) and Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS).
- Keep track of the recommendations and/or corrective actions arising from the investigation and safety meetings. Ensure they are implemented or closed in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Provide administrative support in safety meetings as and when required, including the production of meeting agenda and meeting minutes.
- Conduct OHS inspection, survey or observation as and when required.
- Assist in organising and conducting people safety and FRMS promotion activities, including training, as and when required.
- Assist in producing and disseminating materials to generate FRMS and people safety awareness through company intranet, newsletter and any other suitable media.
- Participate in projects and tasks as and when directed by the Head, Human Factor (HHF) or Assistant Manager, People Safety and Human Factors (AMPSHF).
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in aviation industry, preferably in safety management or operational role.
- Knowledge of Fatigue Risk Management System (FRMS).
- Good understanding of airline’s operations, particularly flight operations.
- Good understanding of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulatory framework in Hong Kong.
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in an aviation, OHS, or safety management discipline.
- Formally trained in safety investigation is an added advantage.
- Good interpersonal, time management, analytical, communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Ability to facilitate cross-teams discussion and projects.
- Proficient with MS Office suite.
