  • Lead a team of supervisors and technical staff to manage maintenance, service recovery and renewal & modification works of high voltage (HV) / overhead line (OHL) / traction power systems, up to and including 25kV / 1500V / 750V traction, 33kV / 11kV /3.3kV three-phase AC power supply systems as well as low voltage distribution and trackside auxiliary equipment
  • Monitor the performance of contractors and coordinate with different stakeholders for smooth implementation of maintenance works and performance
  • Resolve technical problems and conduct technical investigation / analysis
  • Perform testing and commissioning, review technology application and formulate maintenance strategies and work instructions / standards
  • Manage budget, tender evaluation and contract administration
Supervise the overhaul maintenance and condition-based monitoring works, manage the progress of modification projects as well as implement asset management activities for assurance purpose * Co-ordinate with other departments on user requirements and design / procurement issues to ensure smooth execution of maintenance worksRequirements
  • Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in HV / OHL / traction power system maintenance, of which 2 years should be at supervisory level
  • Possession of Corporate Membership of a professional institution in a related discipline, Grade “C” or "H" Certificate of Registration of Electrical Worker and a valid Hong Kong driving licence class 1 and 2 is preferred
  • Sound knowledge of operation and maintenance of railway supply equipment is an advantage
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
Remarks
  • Candidates with lower qualification but extensive experience will also be considered
  • Required to perform shift duties and work under adverse weather and emergency situations
