Account Manager (Wine/Spirit) | up to 28K + commission + quarterly incentive
  • 3 years B2B wine/spirit sales experience
  • One man band
  • WSET Level 2 will be an advantage
Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key accounts, including bar, hotels, restaurants, and members’ clubs.
  • Regularly visit clients to understand their needs and gather feedback, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with team to create and implement targeted sales strategies that align with market trends and client goals.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling products to maximize account revenue.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, addressing any inquiries or issues promptly.
  • Provide tailored solutions based on client needs, including promotional support, product training, and marketing materials.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to inform sales tactics and product offerings.
  • Conduct regular market assessments to identify new business opportunities and areas for growth.
  • Analyze sales data and account performance metrics, preparing detailed reports for management and clients.
  • Set sales targets and develop action plans to achieve or exceed them.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, tastings, and industry events to promote our brands and strengthen relationships.
  • Organize and host client tastings and events to showcase new products and engage with customers.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years in account management, sales, or a related role, preferably within the wine and spirits industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a talent for building rapport and influencing decision-makers.
  • An understanding of wine and spirits, including trends, regions, production processes, and tasting techniques.
  • Ability to navigate challenges and develop effective solutions for clients, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Familiarity with ERP software, Microsoft Office tools and sales analytical tools
  • Diploma graduates or above.
  • WSET Level 2 or above is an advantage.
