- Process authorization referrals according to the guidelines/procedures/policies (issuing business).
- Communicate with other issuing banks by fax/telephone on authorization referrals and information verification received from on-us merchants (acquiring business).
- Liaise with IT Section about system problem on credit card system, merchant acquiring system, and Cardholder Management System (CMS) for generation of One Time Password.
- Make preventive measures according to the guidelines of handling velocity checking and fraud detection alerts, and/or contact cardholder to verify the genuineness of transactions with a view to protecting the Bank’s and customers’ interest.
- Handle lost credit card reports and provide pertinent information to Fraud Control Section for investigation.
- Support the services of credit card customer inquiries and merchant inquiries during non-office hours.
- Prepare MIS relating to authorization services, fraud detection activities and customer inquiries.
- Take the role of monitoring the activities in office via surveillance camera CCTV.
- Secondary education or above
- Minimum of 2 years' of relevant working experience in card authorization/ customer service
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Shift and overnight shift are required
- Proficient in both spoken and written Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese) and English
- Candidate with less experience will be considered as Senior Officer.
