Department: Asset and Liability Management Department – Operations TeamPosition: Operations Manager (Trade Settlement)ResponsibilitiesResponsible for daily settlement and transaction processing of sell-side operations (including IPO, margin financing, Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect), covering OTC fixed income, derivatives, and local/global equities markets; ensuring smooth daily settlement of all businesses.Review and maintain client databases in trading/settlement systems; execute client account onboarding processes (data collection, client induction, and record keeping).Process client funds/securities deposit/withdrawal requests; perform daily reconciliation of firm/client cash accounts and positions to ensure asset safety, accuracy, and operational compliance.Prepare periodic regulatory reports required by the SFC or exchanges; ensure data accuracy and compliance with settlement regulations (anti-money laundering, market conduct, fund segregation, etc.).Collaborate closely with IT to understand industry trends; leverage technology to drive projects and implement improvements aligned with market best practices.Other tasks assigned by the department.RequirementsBachelor’s degree or higher in Business/Economics/Finance from a recognized university.7-10 years of relevant experience; knowledge of financial markets/products with strong market sensitivity and information gathering skills in settlement operations.Proficient in settlement systems (e.g., CCASS, iboss, Clearstream XACT).Ability to support internal/external daily and ad-hoc team tasks.Strong sense of responsibility, logical thinking, stress resistance, communication, and coordination skills; proactive attitude; fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese and English.All applications applied through our system will be delivered directly to the advertiser and privacy of personal data of the applicant will be ensured with security.
