- Greet customers warmly and establish rapport to understand their preferences and needs.
- Provide detailed product knowledge about high-end jewelry, including gemstones, precious metals, craftsmanship, and brand heritage.
- Collaborate with marketing or social media teams to plan and create visually appealing posts and campaigns that showcase jewelry craftsmanship, new collections, and personalized or bespoke options.
- Leverage social media for clienteling and CRM purposes by updating client records with interactions, sending personalized messages about new arrivals, events, or promotions to encourage repeat visits and purchases.
- Assist customers in making informed purchase decisions by effectively showcasing jewelry pieces and sharing unique stories about each item.
- Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets through proactive customer engagement and excellent sales techniques.
- Maintain the store's luxurious presentation by organizing displays and ensuring inventory is well-stocked and impeccably presented.
- Process sales transactions accurately and handle after-sales service, including follow-up communications with clients.
- Represent the brand at private functions and uphold brand standards, including appearance and professionalism.
- Keep client records up to date and develop a loyal client base through ongoing relationship management.
- Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in the luxury jewelry sector, typically 3-7 years depending on the seniority of the role.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with a proven ability to close sales.
- Deep knowledge of fine jewellery, watches or related
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and special events.
- High level of integrity, punctuality, and reliability.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with a diverse clientele.
- Appreciation for luxury brands such as Cartier, Bulgari, Tiffany, Van Cleef & Arpels, Harry Winston, Rolex among others is often preferred.
- Role may require participation in inventory management and collaboration with visual merchandising teams to maintain store aesthetics.
- Acting as a brand ambassador to communicate the luxury brand's ethos and product quality.
- Some roles specify no travel, while others might include representing the brand at events.
