- Client Management & Business Development: Act as the principal point of contact for clients, drive client acquisition, cultivate internal and external relationships, and position Munich Re as a reinsurer offering innovative solutions in the Hong Kong market.
- Solution Development: Provide market insights and updates to regional teams, participate in the development of structured solutions, and drive the sales process by leading client-related initiatives, initiating engagements, and negotiating contract terms to secure profitable deals within specified timelines.
- Sales Process Management: Take ownership of client tasks, initiate engagements, and negotiate contract terms to secure profitable deals within defined timelines.
- Contributions to Team Growth: Streamline the structured solutions strategy, offer development opportunities, and provide regular feedback to support team growth and attainment of objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in business, economics, marketing, or insurance, or equivalent industry education, with extensive experience.
- Qualified actuary (FSA, FIA, or equivalent) with over 10 years in insurance or reinsurance, specializing in client interactions and business development.
- Proficient in accounting, finance, underwriting, and actuarial concepts, with a strong understanding of Life & Health insurance and reinsurance in the Hong Kong market, including HK RBC and IFRS 17.
- Extensive background in client management, business development, and problem-solving, emphasizing creativity and critical thinking.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on relationship management, presentation, and negotiation.
- Proficient in business English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
