As part of their ongoing IT expansion, they are currently seeking a Senior System Administrator to join their growing team in Hong Kong. This is a newly created position reflecting the company's commitment to enhancing its regional IT infrastructure.Responsibilities:
- Perform system maintenance, monitoring, and optimization for OS, virtualization, and cloud environments
- Manage and support virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, OCI)
- Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies
- Troubleshoot and resolve system, virtualization, and backup-related issues in collaboration with internal teams and vendors
- Maintain technical documentation and stay updated on relevant technologies and best practices
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field with at least 5 years of relevant experience
- Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux administration, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/OCI)
- Knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash) and familiarity with DevOps and Kubernetes is a plus
- Experience with system migrations, backup solutions, and ITIL/change management processes
- Strong communication skills in English, Chinese, and Mandarin, with the ability to manage tasks independently
