A leading North American retailer specializing in apparel for babies and young children is seeking a Product Safety & Testing Specialist. This role offers meaningful work, continuous learning, and a collaborative environment guided by values of inclusion and innovation.A typical day will include the following:- * Product Risk Assessment- Manage product risk assessment processes and evaluate garment factory performance with QA support.
- Support safety failure analysis and integrate inspection system data into risk evaluations.
- Maintain vendor and factory testing performance statistics to identify training needs.
- Deliver product risk levels and implement monitoring processesProduct Testing Compliance & Process Enhancement
- Provide technical testing support to vendors including fabric mills, trims suppliers, and garment factories.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to clarify testing requirements and support lab accreditation/component testing programs.
