- Lead engineers in the development of team and individual goals, providing regular and specific feedback, and assessing individual and team performance
- Partner with Product and Program Managers to clarify requirements and propose technical solutions
- Determine different phase milestones and priorities in association with product management peers
- Advocate for operational excellence (such as unit testing, establishing SLAs, programming for resiliency and scalability)
- Mentor employees by providing advice and recommendations based on your own experience and takeaways
- Partner will other tech leads to help build and sustain a healthy and high performing Engineering community
- Anticipate and recognise bottlenecks in work processes between teams and makes suggestions for ongoing improvement
- Engage outside of direct organisation and collaborate with peers across a senior level organisation
- University degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- At least 6 years' experience in IT industry with at least 2 years supervisory/ managerial experience with regional exposure on managing IT programs/projects across different countries
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Critical thinking and able to drive changes
- Strong leadership experience with track records in managing regional-based systems, preferably experiences in implementing & supporting IT systems/projects to support Asian countries
- Proficient in Core Java, Java Spring Boot
- Experiece on MSSQL, NOSQL database and synchronization is a plus (MongoDB, RealmDB)
- Good knowledge in container deployment, Kubernetes system, API Gateway, Client/Server, MVC , OOP, RDBMS, automated test and Internet/Intranet environment
- Practical Experience in CI/CD Pipeline, Azure Pipeline
- Proficient in Agile development approach
- Good command in both written & spoken English & Cantonese and need Mandarin speaking as well
- Broad understanding of the technology industry, including current and emerging digital solutions
- Deep appreciation of latest and emerging technologies and practice, such as DevOps, Cloud, Microservice
