[Ref. No.: 3/18/MCPA/CCM/HKTDC]The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (“HKTDC”), the statutory organisation promoting Hong Kong’s external trade, is looking for a dynamic and high caliber professional to join our Corporate Communications & Marketing Department.Responsibilities:

Write, proofread and edit communications in English, from discussion talk notes and speeches to presentations, for senior executives

Research, write, proofread and edit articles in English for HKTDC’s news portal, Hong Kong Means Business (HKMB)

Collaborate with other departments to highlight HKTDC’s success stories

Edit English communications materials, including press releases

Support production of key publications, including Annual Report and Annual Plan

Requirements:

Recognised university degree or equivalent with at least 10-12 years' experience in journalism, communications or related field in an executive capacity with proven track record

Native English writing, proofreading and editing skills. Able to write for diverse audiences.

Strong understanding of the global, Hong Kong and Mainland China economic and business landscape. Regional and international exposure an advantage.

Experience in leading or supporting the production of annual corporate publications.

Excellent project management skills.

Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organisational and time management skills, able to multitask under tight deadlines while maintaining work quality.

Remuneration and BenefitsThe successful candidate will be appointed on a fixed-term contract basis, renewable subject to operational needs.
