- Provide expert HR advice and support to senior stakeholders and employees on HR-related matters, including employee relations, performance management, and compliance with employment laws.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures that align with the firms strategic goals.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Coordinate and deliver training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
- Oversee employee benefits administration and ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll.
- Conduct regular HR audits to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Support diversity and inclusion initiatives to promote a diverse and inclusive workplace culture.
- Handle employee grievances and disciplinary issues in a fair and consistent manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives to improve HR processes and enhance employee engagement.
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of five years of experience in a similar HR role, preferably within an international law firm or professional services environment.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations in multiple jurisdictions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
- High levels of fluency in English, with Cantonese and Mandarin (written and spoken) preferred
- Strong knowledge of the Hong Kong labour laws.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
- Experience of liaising with the Hong Kong Law Society and applying for new/renewed practising certificates and handling CPD points, a distinct plus.
