Bachelor’s degree from a university in Hong Kong, majoring in Conservation, Chemistry/ Physics/ Biological Engineering, Biochemistry related subjects
Level 2 in the Use of English and Level 1 in the Use of Chinese in the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE) / Level 5 of English Language and Level 4 of Chinese language of the HKDSE, or equivalent
3 years of full-time working experience, with at least 1 year in painting/ paper conservation/ conservation research
OR degree or professional qualification in painting / paper conservation / conservation science with experience in art / cultural heritage conservation research
Have good knowledge in computer applications, including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and Chinese word processing

To prepare materials and mock-ups to support the conservation research on drawings and painting
To perform routine calibration and prepare Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) on scientific analytical equipment;
To develop and prepare materials for education and outreach programme basel on conservation scientific studies, to promote conservation science;
To support publication and presentation on research findings;
To provide any other services as required by the office
