A dynamic and energetic company engaging in the local construction as a main contractor for major Civil Engineering and Building Maintenance works.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND DUTIES
  • Responsible for the company's overall Safety, Environment and Quality (SEQ) strategy. This includes developing, implementing, and continuously improving the SEQ management systems.
  • Reports key performance indicators, risks, and improvement recommendations to top management to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensures all operations and construction projects fully comply with Hong Kong regulations, including occupational safety, environmental, and industrial ordinances.
  • Manages all SEQ-related litigation, investigations, and hearings with government departments to minimize legal and financial risks.
  • Prepares and submits all mandatory reports and permits. Conducts high-level risk assessments.
  • Oversees SEQ audit and inspection programs for all sites, ensuring prompt corrective actions.
  • Leads investigations into serious incidents to determine root causes and implement preventive measures.
  • Manages external communications with clients, subcontractors, and government authorities to protect the company’s reputation.
  • Promotes corporate-wide SEQ awareness through training programs to enhance employee consciousness，and drives continuous improvement in all SEQ aspects.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE OR SKILLS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, Engineering or related field.
  • Must be a Hong Kong Registered Safety Officer (RSO) and Registered Safety Auditor (RSA)
  • At least 15 years’ SEQ experience in major construction contractors, including 5 years in a departmental head role.
  • In-depth knowledge of Hong Kong construction regulations and proven experience handling Labour Department/EPD legal procedures.
  • Familiarity with BIM/smart site tech, and strong leadership/interpersonal skills.
  • Candidate with Law degree or related certificate will be an advantage.
