To succeed in this role, you'll need to build strong relationships with stakeholders, understand business needs, and develop tailored HR solutions. You'll need to be proactive, strategic, and able to navigate complex organisational dynamics. By doing so, you'll drive business outcomes, enhance employee experience, and contribute to OCBC's continued success.What you do?
  • Supervise upstream budgetary agreements for job openings in conjunction with the client group, implement specific recruitment strategy if needed, and ensure efficient on-boarding of new hires
  • Know the assigned staff population and understand the morale of the responsible area. Advise and support employees with regards to internal career management
  • Contribute to the formalization of succession plan for key positions, drive the formulation of appropriate training and development plans for talents and key staff
  • Proactively support managers to prevent unnecessary staff turnover by anticipating short- and long-term business needs
  • Give advice to managers on the annual compensation review exercise. Anticipate and flag potential issues
  • Act as a change agent to assist the organization to transit and transform through changes.
  • Drive for service quality and a stronger performance culture
  • Participate in projects being driven by business lines or the HR community
Who you are?
  • Bachelor’s degree in any disciplines, preferably in Human Resources Management
  • Minimum 8 years' HR Business Partner experience, preferably in banking and financial industry
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skill and highly attentive to details
  • Excellent analytical skill and be able to work effectively and efficiently
  • Reliable and self-motivated who is able to work independently and under pressure
