Responsibilities:
  • Product Innovation
  • Design and launch diverse investment products (including but not limited to ETFs, UCITS and private funds) for APAC markets.
  • Innovate and develop new solutions such as digital-asset-enabled offerings (e.g., blockchain tokenization, AI-driven strategies) in collaboration with technology teams.
  • Sales & Business Development
  • Drive product commercialization through distributor partnerships (banks, brokerages) and direct client engagement (family offices, HNWIs).
  • Develop sales strategies, host educational seminars, and execute marketing campaigns to expand market share.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Lead and coordinate with Investments, Legal, Distribution, and Operations teams to ensure end-to-end execution.
  • Align product strategy with the firm's vision and investment capabilities while navigating regional regulations.
  • Product Solutions & Governance
  • Proven expertise in developing and structuring products across various asset classes (Commodities, Equities/Fixed Income, Real Estates, Private Credit etc.).
  • Embed best-practice principles into product design and ensure compliance with risk/governance standards.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree or above in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or equivalent; Bachelor's degree may also be considered if the conditions are particularly outstanding
  • 10 years in asset management at multinational asset managers, including experience working with Chinese managers in product development and business development across various asset classes.
  • Experience in building distributor relationships, executing marketing strategies, and driving AUM growth.
  • Expertise in fund structures across various asset classes: ETFs (creation/redemption mechanics), UCITS, QDLP, MRF, and alternatives (private credit, real assets).
  • Strong leadership experience managing/coordinating cross-functional teams in complex regulatory environments.
  • Fluent in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin.
  • MBA/LL.M. in Finance, Business, or Law; CFA/CPA preferred.
  • Hong Kong-based professional with experience collaborating with distributors and regulators in the Hong Kong retail market, as well as with foreign asset managers (requiring strong English skills).
  • Candidates possessing both product development and sales/business development experience in the asset management industry.
