They leverage deep industry expertise, data-driven insights, and innovative strategies to deliver superior returns for their investors.Role Overview:They seek a highly analytical and experienced Senior Research Analyst to support their investment teams across all alternative asset classes. The ideal candidate will conduct in-depth research, analyze financial and market data, and develop strategic reports to inform investment decisions and portfolio management. This role requires a strong understanding of private equity structures, macroeconomic trends, and the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights for senior leadership.Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive investment research and due diligence across private equity, hedge funds, venture capital, real estate, and structured finance portfolios.
  • Perform financial and business analytics, including benchmarking, performance attribution, and risk assessment.
  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Develop strategic reports, white papers, and investment proposals for senior management and investment committees.
  • Collaborate with investment teams to evaluate new deals, fund performance, and exit strategies.
  • Build and maintain financial models, databases, and dashboards to track portfolio metrics and KPIs.
  • Present findings to senior stakeholders with clear, data-driven recommendations.
  • Support ad-hoc projects, including market entry studies, asset allocation reviews, and investor presentations.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • 6 to 8 years of experience in investment research, business analytics, or a related role within alternative investments (private equity, hedge funds, or real estate preferred).
  • Deep knowledge of private equity fund structures, LP/GP dynamics, and investment lifecycle (deal sourcing to exits).
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques (DCF, LBO), and data analysis tools (Excel, Bloomberg, PitchBook, Preqin, etc.).
  • Strong presentation skills—ability to distill complex data into concise insights for C-suite audiences.
  • Excellent written communication, with experience drafting research reports or investment memos.
  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; CFA or CAIA preferred.
