- Plan, direct, coordinate, and control the delivery of Virtual Machine and Wintel infrastructure system-related services.
- Ensure IT infrastructure-related projects are delivered on time, with accurate and proper controls according to bank standard procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of the team budget.
- Monitor Wintel and Virtual Machine infrastructure performance and develop recommendations for corrections or improvements.
- Propose Wintel and Virtual Machine infrastructure standards and utilities for adoption.
- Manage and perform Wintel, Virtual Machine, and SFTP infrastructure administration functions.
- Participate in Wintel, Virtual Machine, and SFTP infrastructure system configuration design reviews.
- Assist in problem-solving related to Wintel, Virtual Machine, and SFTP infrastructure systems.
- Develop relevant staff with the appropriate skills and levels.
- Comply with all applicable regulations, rules, codes, guidelines, and standards set by regulators and the Bank.
- Adhere to all established risk control guidelines, procedures, and measures.
- Perform any other duties as directed by the supervisor.
- University graduate in Computer Science or equivalent.
- A minimum of 5 years of working experience in IT, specifically in Wintel server/infrastructure management.
- Solid experience in virtualization infrastructure such as VMWare, Sangfor, and Nutanix.
- Strong experience in Wintel-based infrastructure including SFTP, File and Print, PKI, RemoteApp, Rightfax, and Control-M.
- Sound knowledge of authentication solutions like Fortinet and Cyberark.
- Good understanding of cloud-based technologies such as Amazon S3, Microsoft Azure, and O365.
- Familiarity with various infrastructure components, including VMWare, Linux, Unix, Network, and Firewall.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.
- Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
- Candidates with more extensive IT experience will be considered for the Technical Services Manager position.
- Demonstrate strong planning and organizing skills to identify tasks, prioritize, and manage resources effectively.
- Possess effective management skills to enhance team quality, efficiency, and productivity.
- Exhibit strong problem-solving abilities to identify root causes and generate creative solutions.
