Posting Date: 2025-09-02The Hongkong Electric Co., Ltd.Technician (Construction & Maintenance) (Ref: TND-CM-T-R)Reporting to the Chief Engineering Co-ordination Engineer, the appointee will mainly perform the following responsibilities:Responsibilities:

To assist in testing isolator, switchgears, transformers, equipment and instruments
To assist in supervising tradesmen and contractors during the refurbishment of isolator, switchgears and transformers
To assist in checking the condition of company vehicles
To assist in inputting of daily workshop documentation
To handle any other relevant responsibilities or functions of workshop as assigned

Requirements:

Higher Diploma / Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines
A minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience
Completion of recognized technician / apprenticeship training in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering preferred
Good knowledge of power system
Basic knowledge of vehicles and computer skills
Holder of a valid certificate of mandatory basic safety training, i.e. Green card
Holder of a valid driving licence for Class 1 vehicles
Holder of Registered Electrical Worker (A0) an advantage
Good communication and interpersonal skills
