This provides all our employees with a sense of belonging which allows them to reach their full potential.Discover Crown.HEAD OF SUSTAINBLE SOLUTIONSPosition StatementHead of Sustainable Solutions is responsible for the complete sales cycle, identifying new business in and around sustainable solutions, developing new business opportunities diversifying the revenue streams with an aim to maximizing revenue, profit and customer satisfaction developing deep relationships with key people in the supplier organization, partners and end customers.You will lead the developing and generating new business, growing, maintaining and developing existing business and relationships in the Workspace market capitalizing on both consultative and transactional sales opportunities.As Head of Sustainable Solutions you will demonstrate strong leadership in driving the Workspace business forward, supporting revenue diversification and the introducing new service offerings aligned with sustainability goals.Key Focus Areas

Key Tasks and ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development
  • Lead client relationship and business development activities of the company. Develop and build long-term professional customer relationships with existing, new and potential clients, leveraging Crown group network.
  • Participate in client-facing meetings and business development efforts including cross selling opportunities across all Crown businesses.
  • Assist in formulating and implementing business strategies to achieve sales targets.
  • Manage sales plans, sales activities, contact lists and project databases. Keep up to date with industry developments, maintaining awareness of competitor activity, pipeline, and market trends.
  • Collaborate with Crown marketing team to strengthen and further develop brand equity in target markets.
Project Management
  • Customer Service: Act as the main point of contact for the customer and other applicable parties during the project process. Maintain a professional and positive demeanor across all situations with clients and other partners.
  • Project Definition and Planning: Survey and Establish clear and reasonable project expectations and deliverables for our clients and other project parties.
  • Project Implementation and Coordination: Foster quality interactions and coordination of work with all stakeholders (facility or building managers, contractors, etc.) and project team. Provide updates and communication throughout the project ensuring all critical information or dates are known by all project parties and to ensure full sustainable handover.
  • Project Administration and Closeout: Maintain and track any project revisions or modifications and ensure applicable parties are made aware. Manage any changes of scope costs in real time and provide timely and accurate information of any changes. Complete project closeout and document.

  • Proficient computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher, Canva or equivalent.
  • Commitment to customer service and continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Cultural sensitivity and awareness.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor or Diploma degree in commerce or within a construction-related field or Business/Management.
  • Preferred knowledge of commercial real estate, particularly the Office sector.
  • Any one of the following qualifications PMP® (Project Management Professional), PMI-RMP® (Risk Management Professional) or PMI, LEED® Green Associate would be an advantage.
  • Preferred experience in distribution or management of office furniture products/assets.
  • Exposure to practices like recycling, reusing, and optimizing the lifecycle of company assets to minimize waste and environmental impact.
  • Knowledge of or experience with construction/ reinstatement projects is a plus.
  • Proficient in project estimation and budget management skills.
  • Excellent cross functional stakeholder management and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organization and coordination skills with excellent problem-solving ability.
  • Self-motivated and able to work under high pressure and constraint time, committed and process oriented.
