- Assist in conducting and reviewing events, including performing competitive analysis of the market. Support the exploration of opportunities for new fundraising events and partnerships to enhance the reach of HHS's existing initiatives
- Assist in preparing promotional write up, donor / corporate acquisition materials and fundraising proposals
- Support the planning and execution of fundraising events for donors or the general public, ensuring smooth management and timely delivery within budget
- Assist in identifying market segmentation, unique propositions, and partnership opportunities for HHS community events. Provide input for event decks and sponsor proposals
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and production teams for seamless project execution
- Manage budgets, timelines, and resources to optimize outcomes and ensure quality standards
- Liaise and coordinate with relevant internal teams and external vendors /agencies to ensure smooth operation of events and projects promotion
- Handle event-related customer services, inquiries, and social media feedback
- Assist in preparing event accounts, feedback reports, and reviews
- Continuously improve processes and perform ad hoc duties assigned by direct supervisor to support team objectives
- Degree holder in Event Management, Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, business studies or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in event marketing & management and promotions
- Prior experience in social services or non-profit organization an added advantage
- Outgoing and energetic, self-initiated and responsible personality
- A strong team player, well-organized, independent and multi-tasking
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
- Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, other Microsoft Applications and Canva
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Good command in English with spoken Mandarin and Cantonese
- Occasional work during weekends & public holidays with compensation leave
- Experience in charitable fundraising, donor cultivation, or membership management for NGOs is a definite advantage
- Candidate with more experience will be considered for the position of Senior Corporate Development Officer
