- Report to the Chief Executive Officer of the Group and lead a team of 40 finance and accounting professionals.
- Drive change and transformation within the finance and accounting team.
- Oversee financial reporting, consolidation, financial planning and analysis, tax planning, treasury, risk management, regulatory compliance, internal control, business development/M&A, corporate and project financing, and investor relations.
- Act as a business partner and finance functional leader, collaborating with the Group CEO and the CEOs and CFOs of operating business companies to drive business growth.
- Establish and track business-specific KPIs.
- Lead and propose initiatives in efficiency and business process re-engineering to improve profitability at both Group and Business Unit levels.
- Oversee and manage the business development process, including pre- and post-M&A, project investment, strategic alliances, and new market entry.
- Provide effective analysis, controllership, and cost control for tax planning, treasury management, bank relationships, FX hedging, loan restructuring, and working capital/cash flow optimization.
- Serve as the main liaison with professional firms, business associates, and the investment community, including tax specialists, auditors, equity analysts, fund managers, bankers, and financial journalists.
- University degree in Finance & Accounting or a related discipline with a professional qualification such as CPA or equivalent.
- Minimum of 20 years of financial management experience, with at least 10 years in a top financial leadership position within scalable B2C businesses such as retail, FMCG, or hospitality.
- Proven experience managing large, complex financial and accounting teams in a global, matrix-reporting environment.
- Strong executive presence to manage board members and present to high-level stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills, with a genuine interest in understanding the issues of business operating companies in different countries.
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
- Preferably local Hong Kong candidates or those familiar with the Hong Kong market.
