Project Co-ordinator II [carrying the job title of ‘Assistant Manager, Marketing and Admissions, Master of Science in Management (MiM) Programme]
The Office of the MiM Programme under the Department of Management is now looking for a high calibre candidate to join the team. The appointee will work alongside a dynamic team, leading the rapid development of the Programme, and will be responsible for (a) playing a key role in the admissions exercise, including but not limited to shortlisting applicants, scheduling interviews, validating application documents, preparing recommendation documents, issuing admission offers and confirming offer acceptance; (b) actively engaging and following up on prospects/applicants to increase enrolment and meet team targets; (c) planning and executing campaigns to promote the Programme across various channels; (d) co-ordinating with internal and external parties to organize and participate in admissions events; (e) providing regular analytical reports to monitor application and admissions progress; (f) providing general support for Programme events and activities; and (g) performing any other duties as assigned. Occasional overseas travel may be required.Applicants should have (i) a good Bachelor’s degree; (ii) at least 2 years’ post-qualification work experience, preferably in higher education institutions; (iii) strong interpersonal, organisational and problem-solving skills; (iv) a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua); (v) a strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation; (vi) a good level of experience in student recruiting and marketing within an education context; and (vii) high computer proficiency and competence in the use of database systems and electronic communication. Knowledge of and experience with digital media marketing will be advantageous.
