Prepare the daily requisition for all required food items of the restaurant
Ensure that all food products are served in accordance with established policies, guidelines and recipes
Assist Senior Chefs in working out recipes and food related promotions
Ensure that the cost control policies and procedures are followed
Ensure the cleanliness of utensils and work areas, kitchen equipment are being handling and maintained properly
We are looking for someone who has:
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in prestigious Hotels or restaurants with 2 years of experience in a similar position
Expertise in a particular Indian and South East Asian Cuisine would be an advantage
Good knowledge of authentic Indian food and food trend in the market
Understanding in the operation of relevant section, including daily operation, cost control and procurement system, HACCP, Work Safety and employee related matters
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
Good command of both spoken and written English
