To lead/supervise one or more of the following functional areas in the supporting services department to oversee the day-to-day operations, and the provision of central domestic services and outsourced contract management.
  • Cleansing, Gardening, Pest Control, Domestic and Waste Management, and Environmental Safety
  • Patient Portering, Messengerial and Material Transportation
  • Linen Supplies, Uniform and Working Clothes Exchange Services, Central Curtain Supply, and Laundry Services
  • Staff Changing Rooms and Hostel Operation
  • Other Supporting Services
2. To liaise with other departments/units and outsourced service contractors in day-to-day provision of services and monitoring of service quality and performance regularly.3. To provide trainings to frontline staff, and ensure staff compliance with HA related ordinances, policies and guidelines.4. To assist in the formation of the new workflows, working guidelines and operation manual for the department.5. To prepare duty roster for supporting staff, workload statistics and reports.6. To assist seniors in the daily supervision, and inspections.7. To perform store management duties, including keep stock of materials, store items and other equipment items.8. To assist in asset management, and arrange for the repair and maintenance when required.9. To handle and monitor system and data input of smart initiatives in the Department.10. May be required to be deployed to work at other hospitals within the cluster and support hospital relocation arrangements.11. To perform shift and on-call duties and provide 24-hour emergency support and coordination during incidents / emergencies / disasters, and to prepare necessary logistics, reports and documentation to hospital management and supervisors.12. To perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.Entry Requirements:1. (a) 3 years’ satisfactory service in the Hospital Authority; OR(b) 2 years’ supervisory experience in hospitals, hotels, cleansing service, facilities management or other related services / industries;2. Have shown the potential to lead and supervise staff.Preferable Attributes:1. Completed Form 5 / Secondary 5 or equivalent.2. Good knowledge and work experiences in domestic / supporting / housekeeping / security / property management services; in which 1 year should be at supervisory level.3. Knowledge in computer applications including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Chinese word processing.4. Experience in handling hospital system (AMS, ADS & CMMS etc.)5. Ability to read and write Chinese and English, and speak fluent Cantonese.6. Good communication, interpersonal and supervisory skills.7. Pleasant and mature personality.8. Self-motivated, responsible and able to work independently.9. Great adaptability / flexibility and able to handle multi-tasks.10.
