
Information Technology Manager, Information Technology Services Office (TWC/25/147/ITSO/ITM)

- assist in formulating, reviewing, and implementing policies, regulations, guidelines, and plans for IT/AV services for the College;
- use independent judgment to assess policy, regulation, and technology changes on IT/AV and educational services, providing innovative solutions to problems;
- manage, coordinate, and execute IT/AV and other projects within the College;
- manage all learning and teaching systems, such as the e-learning system and College computer management;
- work closely with end users and provide professional technical advice;
- provide IT/AV support for all College activities, both on and off-campus;
- travel between multiple campuses and work irregular hours, including Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, when necessary; and
- carry out any additional duties as assigned by the Head or their delegates.
- have at least 8 years of relevant work experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management position overseeing technical staff;
- have solid experience in IT services management, as well as project management in teaching facilities development and maintenance;
- have substantial experience in the development and management of computer laboratories and teaching facilities;
- be competent in large-scale computer deployment, updating, and management;
- have experience in the administration of Blackboard Learn or another Learning Management System;
- handle, monitor, and maintain the ticket management system;
- ideally be familiar with professional audio-visual equipment and control systems, particularly in educational settings;
- preferably hold certifications in PMP, PRINCE2, or ITIL;
- have a strong sense of ownership and a service-oriented mindset;
- have strong problem-solving and analytical skills;
- have good interpersonal, communication, writing, and presentation skills; and
- be proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently and collaboratively under pressure.
