Our client, is a world-leading internet and technology company headquarter in Shenzhen, a listed company in Hong Kong, and their team Digital payment platform / Social Payment method is looking for a suitable candidate(less experience will consider as Business Development Officer)ResponsibilitiesPartnership Development : Develop and execute strategic partnerships with merchants, acquirers, and payment facilitators to drive business growth and expand WeChat Pay HK's ecosystem.Merchant Growth Initiatives : Design, implement, and analyze merchant-focused campaigns to boost engagement, transaction volume, and revenue. This includes setting campaign objectives, creating promotional strategies, and evaluating performance metrics to optimize outcomes.Client Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and engagementBusiness Opportunity Exploration : Identify and pursue new business opportunities through various networks and channels to expand WeChat Pay HK’s market presence. Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to inform business strategies and initiatives.Project Leadership : Work closely with external vendors and internal teams, including product development, customer support, and compliance, to align business objectives and develop communication materials, training programs, and support strategies.Document Preparation and Reporting : Prepare and organize necessary documentation for business proposals, contracts, partnership agreements, and reports.QualificationsIndustry Expertise : Deep understanding of the payments ecosystem, including merchant acquiring, processing, technology, payment facilitators, and intermediaries. Knowledge of the Hong Kong and China market landscape, including regulatory environments and key industry players, is highly desirable.Experience : Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in business development, partnership/account management, or strategy/consulting within the payments or fintech industry. Experience with QR payment solutions is a strong advantage.Skills :Strong execution mindset with the ability to dive into details, collaborate across teams, and drive outcomes in a matrixed environment.Proven ability to design and analyze merchant growth campaigns, leveraging data to optimize performance and achieve business goals.Excellent analytical skills for campaign performance evaluation and strategic decision-making.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and navigate complex stakeholder environments.Cultural adaptability and flexibility to work across diverse cultures and industries.Proficient in MS Office applications and project management tools.Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Technology, or a related field; a graduate degree is a plus.Language : Fluent in spoken and written Chinese (including Putonghua) and English.Other : Self-motivated, highly independent, and able to travel for business as required.
