The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator and Co-Principal Investigators. His/her task will include (i) helping to prepare questionnaire for survey; (ii) arranging and assisting to conduct personal interviews & focus groups; (iii) conducting quantitative data analysis with SPSS, (iv) conducting analysis of the verbatim transcriptions; (v) assisting in drafting training materials, powerpoint presentations, operational manuals, forms, templates and reports; (vi) drafting research manuscripts and other presentation materials for presentation/publication in conferences/journals; (vii) assisting in event preparation and implementations; (viii) performing other tasks as assigned.Appointment Criteria:
Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor's degree, preferably with a Master's/MPhil degree in Social Sciences or a related discipline; (ii) solid training and experience in research methods, both quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis; (iii) excellent English and Chinese proficiency.An appointment will initially be made on a contract basis, it will be renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
