Identify and implement solutions that focus on optimizing and improving the overall performance of our trading stack, utilizing low-latency technologies like microwave links and FPGAs
Capture and evaluate network data, develop prototypes for performance solutions, and automate processes
Use data-driven insights to enhance trading results, reverse engineer systems; design and perform statistical experiments to interpret emerging real-world observations
Investigate latency issues and bottlenecks. Be a key advisor to our Trading department on recommended technology setups that will further improve trading performance
Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve latency issues and improve overall system efficiency
Identify, analyze and test the potential of various new technologies that can be included in our infrastructure and provide clear justification to the business for implementation
What You Need to SucceedMSc or BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline5+ years of relevant experience in a similar industryRelevant experience in covering Chinese Equity MarketStrong background in computer internals, networking, and Linux systemsProgramming experience in Python and/or C++ * Experience in system-level performance tuning, data analysis, and understanding of low-latency hardwareProactive personality, with a scientific-thinking and solution-oriented mindsetExcellent communication capabilities, able to present complex data and communicate technical concepts to various stakeholders clearlyInterest or experience with trading and reverse engineering is a plus
