About Our ClientWe are partnering with a global certification/inspection laboratory group as client to assist their recruitment on a Senior Business Development Manager role. Reporting to the Global Head of Business Development, this role will lead a team of Business Development Managers to drive the growth of testing business especially on textile goods.Key Responsibilities
  • Identify target clients and relevant market opportunities then define and execute strategies to drive sales growth
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Manage end to end sales cycle from pitching, managing proposals and conducting client presentations
  • Conduct market research to stay on top of industry trends and client needs
  • Provide leadership on team mentoring, performance and career development
  • Collaborate with local, regional and global stakeholders from technical operations and marketing team on service delivery
  • Stay on top of compliance regulations and industry standards and provide updates to management regularly to refine business strategies accordingly
Job Requirements
  • Diploma holder with at least 10 years' business development/sales experience which at least 3 years within a team management role
  • Proven track record driving sales growth within laboratory testing business (especially on textile products)
  • Strong understanding on testing compliance and regulations on textile goods
  • Fluent communication in English
  • Occasional business travelling is required
