What You'll Be Doing:

Spearhead the architecture and evolution of enterprise-grade data platforms, including lakes, warehouses, and real-time processing systems.
Translate complex business needs into robust data capabilities aligned with governance and strategic goals.
Assess and recommend cutting-edge cloud tools for data ingestion, storage, processing, and orchestration.
Design platforms with embedded security, privacy, and compliance features.
Ensure the platform is resilient, scalable, and optimized for growing data demands.
Lead the development of data pipelines and transformation logic from concept to deployment.
Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and architecture teams to overcome technical challenges.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Terraform and GitHub Actions.
Implement observability frameworks to monitor performance, cost, and system health.
Act as the bridge between data engineering, analytics, infrastructure, and business teams.
Oversee platform operations, including health checks, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
Drive root cause analysis and resolution of platform issues.
Define support processes, escalation paths, and SLAs.
Maintain comprehensive documentation including runbooks and configuration records.
Ensure data integrity and consistency across integrated systems.
Monitor and maintain integration processes and environments.

What We're Looking For:

Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
8+ years of experience in data architecture and engineering, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.
At least 6 years of hands-on experience in integration design and deployment, ideally within financial services.
Proven expertise in building scalable cloud-based data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
Strong background in data modeling and governance.
Familiarity with tools like Azure Synapse, Databricks, Snowflake, or BigQuery.
Demonstrated leadership in end-to-end platform delivery.
Experience managing cross-functional teams and engaging with business stakeholders.
Skilled in automated deployments using Terraform and Azure DevOps.
Knowledge of observability tools and frameworks.
