Responsibilities:As a checker of Securities, Futures and Commodities Settlement processesManage the daily process for settlement team and ensure proper operational procedures are in place to compliance with all regulatory and control requirementsTo fulfill all responsibilities of the risk control requirements as stated in the key responsibilities sectionSupport daily settlement for derivatives products in Hong Kong and Oversea MarketsSupport Global Market Projects including implement the settlement flow and liaison with front office, IT, vendors and brokersSupervise Corporate Actions process, tracking events and client communicationsTo resolve operational issues for the departmentDevelop and streamline the daily workflowProvide the proper on-job trainings to the teammatesEnsure the team provides quality support to both internal and external clients for ad hoc and regular queriesDevelop and motivate the team to attract, retain and develop the capacity, capability of talent to provide for succession and ensure delivery of business objectivesSet expectations, share best practice and manage, monitor, coach and develop team to ensure that they maximize their performance, meet the required standards, and continuously develop their capabilities and experienceReview and provide guidance to the team on different settlement tasks followed with the procedure manualRequirements:10 years of experience in OperationsBachelor Degree requiredAttain professional qualification(s) in Investment Banking or other relevant subject is preferredSupervisory and/or Futures Settlement experience is an advantageousSound knowledge in settlement processingExperience in HK / Global market’s settlement, including Futures, Bond and IPO processingFluency in Cantonese, English and Mandarin is an advantageData collected would be used for recruitment purpose only.
