  • Underwrite medical and jumbo cases independently, making accurate risk decisions according to company policies.
  • Review clients' financial documents to assess their financial health and help develop better financial guidelines.
  • Stay informed about industry rules, best practices, and market changes to maintain compliance and stay competitive.
2) Process Improvement and Compliance
  • Help review and improve operation procedures to follow company risk strategies and industry standards.
  • Ensure smooth policy issuance, endorsements, and renewals, making sure everything is compliant.
  • Keep detailed records of underwriting decisions for audit and compliance purposes.
3) Support and Training
  • Support brokers by conducting training and offering ongoing assistance to help them understand products and processes.
  • Communicate with brokers and internal teams to resolve underwriting issues and clarify policy terms.
4) Service Enhancement and Collaboration
  • Provide prompt and helpful support to brokers, consultants, internal teams, and the GP team with inquiries.
  • Keep track of market trends and broker feedback to find ways to improve our processes and services.
  • Participate in projects to enhance brokerage services and financial underwriting methods.
Qualifications:
  • Solid record in underwriting field with over 8 years relevant experience in life insurance underwriting of which 3 to 4 years in supervisory role preferred.
  • Professional qualification in Life Insurance field including FLMI (Fellow, Life Management Institute) or other related qualification.
  • Strong interpersonal & customer service skills for Life operation
  • Good command in English and Cantonese, fluent Putonghua will be an advantage.
  • University degree in any disciplines.
  • PC skill of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing.
