(Ref.: 25/106/SS/RA)Duties:The appointee will support the Principal Investigator in a research project on Facebook news framing. Key responsibilities include: * Preparing research materials for quantitative studies;
  • Collecting, inputting, and analysing quantitative data;
  • Reviewing literature and drafting manuscripts;
  • Undertaking other duties as assigned by the project leader or her delegates.
Appointment Criteria:Applicants should:
  • Hold an honours degree in social sciences, or a related discipline, preferably in Psychology;
  • Have at least one year of relevant work experience;
  • Possess strong knowledge and skills in quantitative research methodologies and data analysis;
  • Demonstrate proficiency in computer applications, including research-related software, such as SPSS, and online quantitative data collection platform, such as Qualtrics, and an experience in data crawling techniques being an advantage;
  • Have an excellent command of both written and spoken English, as well as fluency in written Traditional Chinese and spoken Cantonese;
  • Be self-motivated, exhibit strong organisational skills, and have a strong sense of responsibility; and
  • Be a good team player who is also capable of working independently.
