This role offers the opportunity to shape the brand strategy of a global finance company while driving impactful PR and marketing initiatives.Key Responsibilities1. Brand Strategy & Management
  • Develop brand positioning and communication strategies tailored to a global financial institution.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all communication channels, including digital platforms and physical events.
  • Safeguard and enhance the brand’s reputation while adhering to industry regulations and compliance standards.
2. Content Marketing
  • Draft press releases independently in both Chinese and English.
  • Lead the creation of thought leadership materials—such as company news, press releases, and reports—to enhance brand exposure and awareness.
  • Oversee and drive social media strategies to reinforce the brand's credibility and strengthen visibility within the financial sector.
3. PR & Media Relations
  • Plan and execute media outreach campaigns, including press releases, interviews, and executive commentary.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with global financial journalists and editors, with a particular focus on international media.
  • Manage crisis communications, including developing and implementing contingency plans to protect the brand’s reputation.
4. Events & Sponsorships
  • Organize and deliver high-profile events, such as industry forums, expos, and gala dinners, to enhance brand engagement.
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage sponsorship opportunities to increase brand visibility within the financial services sector.
5. Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Align brand messaging with investment and product teams to ensure consistency and strategic alignment.
  • Manage external agencies and vendors to ensure timely, high-quality project delivery.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of brand management experience, with at least 1+ year in financial services (CFDs / FX experience is a plus).
  • Established media relationships with a proven track record of successful PR campaigns in the finance industry.
  • Exceptional writing skills in both English and Chinese (writing samples required).
  • Strong knowledge of Hong Kong’s financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively present ideas and manage stakeholders across various levels.
  • Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
