The incumbent will also participate in projects, implement initiatives, and handle various ad-hoc tasks.What you will be doing:Financial ReportingPrepare month-end head office and local financial reportsPerform month-end closing of subsidiary entitiesCompile annual audited financial statements for subsidiary entitiesLiaise with internal and external auditorsRegulatory reportingPrepare HKMA returns and surveysPrepare HKMA financial disclosuresAd-hoc tasks and projectsParticipate in system enhancement projects and streamlining initiatives.Handle ad-hoc tasksWhat we are looking for:Bachelor’s degree or equivalentCPA is a plus2-5 years’ experience in bank, accounting, audit or equivalentExperience with HKMA returns / background in banks or accounting firms is a plusSound knowledge of banking and finance functions, including financial and regulatory reporting (especially HKMA returns)Curious, proactive, passionate about success, strong teamwork skillsGood communication, interpersonal & presentation skills in both Chinese and EnglishCandidate is an achiever with a growth mindset, eager to contribute to the organization and seeking opportunities for professional developmentFresh graduates are welcomeCandidates with less experience may be considered for a junior-level appointmentWhat we offer:Competitive base salary.
