The incumbent will also participate in projects, implement initiatives, and handle various ad-hoc tasks.What you will be doing:Financial Reporting
  • Prepare month-end head office and local financial reports
  • Perform month-end closing of subsidiary entities
  • Compile annual audited financial statements for subsidiary entities
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors
Regulatory reporting
  • Prepare HKMA returns and surveys
  • Prepare HKMA financial disclosures
Ad-hoc tasks and projects
  • Participate in system enhancement projects and streamlining initiatives.
  • Handle ad-hoc tasks
What we are looking for:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • CPA is a plus
  • 2-5 years’ experience in bank, accounting, audit or equivalent
  • Experience with HKMA returns / background in banks or accounting firms is a plus
  • Sound knowledge of banking and finance functions, including financial and regulatory reporting (especially HKMA returns)
  • Curious, proactive, passionate about success, strong teamwork skills
  • Good communication, interpersonal & presentation skills in both Chinese and English
  • Candidate is an achiever with a growth mindset, eager to contribute to the organization and seeking opportunities for professional development
  • Fresh graduates are welcome
  • Candidates with less experience may be considered for a junior-level appointment
