- Ensuring compliance with local and international regulatory requirements.
- Assisting with the implementation and maintenance of risk management policies and procedures.
- Conducting due diligence checks and preparing compliance reports.
- Providing advice and guidance to internal teams on risk and compliance matters.
- Collaborating with the lawyers to address complex conflict issues.
- Monitoring and updating the firm's compliance database and systems.
- Supporting training initiatives to promote compliance awareness within the firm.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in compliance.
- A solid understanding of risk management and compliance processes in professional services, specifically law firms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in English.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks relevant to the location of Hong Kong.
- A proactive approach to managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- A degree in law, business, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
