Position Summary:Bright Start 2.0 is a four-year initiative funded by the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust. It aims to enhance the professional competence of child care center (CCC) practitioners in delivering high-quality educare services for infants and toddlers. The project will also engage parents, caregivers, and community service units to deepen their understanding of educare practices, fostering knowledge transfer and empowerment.The project manager is responsible for supporting overall project management, the teacher professional development program, and parent and public education. This role also involves overseeing all aspects of project implementation, ensuring successful outcomes through effective planning, coordination, and communication.Key Responsibilities :Project Management, Professional Development, and Parent & Community EducationCreate synergy among the Project team and stakeholders (e.g. funder, partnership schools)Develop and implement a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress of various project components simultaneouslyActively obtain and coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for a smooth implementation of the ProjectEnsure that all project outcomes and outputs are delivered on-time, within scope and within budgetCreate and maintain project documentation, including administrative and budget documents requested by the funderManage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs for the rapid changes on need basisDesign and develop the professional development programs for child care practitioners and parent education programs for parentsProvide onsite training for child care practitioners, equipping them with strategies to enhance learning outcomes for children aged 0-3Collaborate with external professional organizations to implement professional development programs that promote the high-quality provision of educare servicesMaintain effective professional communication with child care practitioners to cultivate the development of professional learning communities within the 0-3 sectorCollaborate with community outreach officers and social workers to identify community needs related to early childhood educationOrganize and host public talks, forums, and community events to raise awareness about the importance of education for children aged 0-3Develop materials and resources to support parents and caregivers in understanding child development and educare practicesFoster community engagement through outreach efforts and collaboration with local community service unitsDevelop and manage the operation of a learning platform designed for parents and caregiversJob Requirements :Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or social science related disciplines, preferably a higher degree.A minimum of 10 years of experience in early childhood education and minimum of 2 years of management experience in educational settingsExperience in projects related to education or social servicesExperience in developing and delivering training programs for teachers or parents is a plusApplicants with less experience can consider applying for the "Assistant Project Manager" positionStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteSolid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking abilitiesStrong presentation and facilitation skillsAbility to build relationships with educators and training partners.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.All applications applied through our system will be delivered directly to the advertiser and privacy of personal data of the applicant will be ensured with security.
