Head of MarketingAbout the RoleRunway 1331 is seeking a dynamic and visionary Head of Marketing to lead the strategic direction of our brand and communications. This role is central to shaping Runway 1331’s identity, building meaningful engagement, and driving growth across guest experiences, partnerships, and creative collaborations.Key ResponsibilitiesBrand Strategy & Development
  • Define, strengthen, and evolve the Runway 1331 brand identity across all platforms and touchpoints.
  • Create and enforce brand guidelines to ensure clear, consistent messaging.
  • Lead storytelling efforts that highlight our values, culture, and community impact.
Strategic Marketing Leadership
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies that increase awareness, bookings, and partnerships.
  • Conduct market research and audience insights to refine positioning, messaging, and growth opportunities.
  • Partner with leadership to align marketing priorities with organizational goals.
Digital & Content Marketing
  • Oversee digital channels including website, social media, email campaigns, and SEO.
  • Drive creative content development (copywriting, photography, video) that resonates with youth and creative communities.
  • Increase engagement through campaigns, influencer collaborations, and user-generated content.
Events & Community Engagement
  • Support program teams in marketing events, workshops, and seasonal initiatives.
  • Cultivate partnerships with local creatives, youth organizations, and media outlets.
  • Lead promotional strategies for special campaigns and community-driven projects.
Team & Budget Management
  • Build and guide a small in-house team or collaborate with external agencies/freelancers.
  • Manage budgets, track ROI, and provide performance reporting to leadership.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of progressive marketing experience, preferably in hospitality, youth engagement, or creative industries.
  • Demonstrated success in brand building, digital marketing, and campaign execution.
  • Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.
  • Genuine passion for youth development, creativity, and community impact.
Preferred Attributes
  • Experience in startups, NGOs, or social enterprises.
  • Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Cantonese.
